Program Details

Bay Path University offers the online Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. This program prepares students to advance their careers in leadership, advocacy, and ethics. Students will become innovators within the profession. The unique curriculum includes coursework in evidence based practice, occupational science, community practice, bioethics, leadership & advocacy, and professional writing.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of an entry-level accredited occupational therapy program at the Master degree level and a minimum of one year of full time clinical experience; OR successful completion of an entry-level accredited occupational therapy program at the Baccalaureate degree level, successful completion of a Master degree level program in a related field, and a minimum of one year of full time clinical experience
  • An original essay of at least 250 words
  • Undergraduate and graduate transcripts (a GPA of 3.0 is preferred)
  • A writing sample from your previous graduate-level coursework in APA format
  • A current resume
  • Two recommendations
  • Resume/curriculum vitae
  • Interview with program coordinator 
  • Copy of your NBCOT certificate or state license 
  • English language proficiency (TOEFL scores), if applicable
