Program Details

The online Associate in Science in Secondary Education program is designed for students who are planning to transfer to a four-year college or university for a bachelor’s degree in secondary education.  The curriculum provides the first two years of professional education courses and related general education courses that will lead to state certification for teaching.  This program begins to prepare students to teach at the junior and high school levels after earning their bachelor’s degrees.  Education emphasis is available in Art, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, and many of the sciences.
