The online Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry Leadership program is designed for students interested in acting as spiritual leaders. The curriculum prepares students for local church ministry and leadership, the areas God has chosen to do His work. You will learn the basic qualifications for serving as a pastor of a local church and the foundation for a lifetime of developing ministerial skills. Courses help students understand the biblical purpose of the local church and the role of the pastor within the local church, church history, methods of Leadership in Ministry, and how to discern God’s visions for the future for local congregations and begin implementing them. Graduates will have a sound philosophy of local church ministry, are able to accurately interpret scripture, can use sound methodology, are familiar with New Testament Greek, can craft and deliver relevant sermons, and can conduct specialized worship ceremonies including weddings, funerals, baptisms, and communion.
