Program Details

The online Master of Arts in Pastoral Theology program prepares students for supportive roles to those serving in positions of ministerial leadership instead of focusing on the development of particular ministerial skills. Students will learn to work as associate pastors, church administrators, lay leaders, and Bible teachers.  

Courses will teach interdisciplinary knowledge as it relates to biblical studies, theological and historical studies, and pastoral theology. You will also learn to evaluate and communicate biblical theological truths in the context of Christian ministries. 

Students are able to choose areas of emphasis that include the areas of:

  • Old Testament
  • New Testament
  • Systematic Theology
  • Church History
  • Applied Theology
