About Baptist Health Sciences University
In 1994, Baptist Memorial College of Health Sciences, now Baptist College of Health Sciences (BCHS), was officially chartered and assumed the role of specialized health education conferring bachelor’s degrees in nursing and health sciences.
BCHS offers select coursework online and through blended learning and web-assisted formats. Students participating in online instruction must complete an online assessment and enroll in an online education session. Blended learning formats typically integrate online learning with traditional on-campus coursework while web-assisted learning supplements traditional on-campus courses with online materials, like a course syllabus, assignments, or online assessments.
