Program Details

Ball State University offers a Graduate Certificate in Early Childhood Master Teacher program. This online early childhood education degree prepares students to become master teachers who are able to mentor other educators. 

The curriculum provides the skills and strategies to be mentor-teachers, applying research-based methodology to early childhood education. Coursework covers subjects such as education in a diverse society, educational programs for young children, observation and assessment, and mentoring early childhood professionals. 

Participants will graduate with the following skills:
