Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Early Childhood Master Teacher program prepares students to become master teachers who are able to mentor early childhood professionals.  The curriculum provides the skills and strategies to be mentor-teachers, so students are able to apply a variety of perspectives that are knowledgeable, reflective, and critical to promote professional growth, social change in the classroom, and in the field of early childhood education.  Students learn to apply research-based early childhood education skills in child development, learn to elevate teaching practices, learn how to apply effective teaching strategies and practices to promote positive outcomes for young children and families, and demonstrate an understanding of cultural responsiveness in all interactions.
