Program Details

Ball State University offers the online Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. Not only does this program increase your knowledge of children from birth to age 5, but it also includes a built-in minor in early childhood special education.

The flexible and asynchronous nature of the program is intended to be appealing to working child care professionals. 

Classwork covers subjects including early childhood instruction, promoting prosocial behavior, early emergency literacy, and assessment of children with special needs, to name a few. Graduates will be prepared for careers in a variety of early childhood settings such as Head Start or pre-Kindergarten classrooms.
