Program Details

The online Master of Arts in Education in School Leadership program is designed for teachers who are seeking the principal’s license and is equally relevant for those who aspire to work within a school system on curriculum design, development, and reform.  Students in the program will explore leadership theories and practices that promote the success of all students in diverse school environments.  Students will learn the essential elements to develop a school vision, establish a culture of high standards of learning, and implement and evaluate continuous improvement plans.  Graduates apply best practices through effective instructional programs and comprehensive professional development plans at the building and district levels; examine curriculum design, development, and reform; and understand the components of a professional code of ethics.
