The online Master of Arts in Education with a specialization in Curriculum and Instruction programs is designed for educators who want to broaden their professional knowledge to improve teaching and enhance the curriculum development process within their school systems. The curriculum teaches theories and curriculum design while students focus on applying current theory, research, and technology to the design of curriculum and instructional models. Graduates are able to use diverse instructional strategies, manage and monitor students’ progress using multiple methods for measuring performance, foster a professional community by collaborating with others, and evaluate school progress and resource allocation to meet established objectives of governing bodies. Concentrations are available in Instructional Technology and Special Education.
