Program Details

Advanced Standing in the online master’s in Social Work program at Aurora University is awarded to students who have earned a BSW degree from a CSWE-accredited institution within five years, shown outstanding scholarship in social work classes, and shown excellence in the field. The distinction reduces the number of semester hours required for the online MSW program by half.

The online social work degree includes 1,050 hours of internship work so students can apply theories learned in classes to real-world situations. Students can pursue a general Social Work degree or choose from one of five optional specialized tracks.
