The focus of this online special education degree is to develop teachers who can lead these students with special learning needs. The curriculum emphasizes the roles and responsibilities of those teachers and focuses on using assistive technology and behavioral methods.

The Special Education Emphasis focuses on gaining the knowledge and skills needed to work with individuals with disabilities. The Gifted and Talented track provides a thorough understanding of theory, research strategies, and best practices of gifted education.
