Program Details

The online Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering program is designed for student who wish to gain knowledge in the engineering profession, specifically in the work of engineering mechanics.  The curriculum provides opportunities to obtain the skills necessary to define, formulate, and solve novel problems through advanced education and research.  Topics covered include robotics, vibrations, dynamical systems, materials science, and more.

Requirements

  • Campus visit may be required for oral examinations and project defense
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent from an institution of recognized standing OR an approved degree from a science, technology, engineering or mathematics discipline
  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Additional course work may be required as prereqisites upon faculty review
