The Associate in Applied Science in Computer Programming with a specialization in Database Design & Development is an online database administration degree program from Atlantic Cape Community College.  This program prepares students for entry-level positions in database design and development and is intended for those who want to begin their careers rather than transfer into a bachelor’s program.  The curriculum strongly emphasizes business and database programming and design techniques that include Oracle SQL and Oracle design concepts.  Students will focus on database technology, utilizing a variety of popular software packages and developing critical thinking skills.  You will investigate information systems with respect to their existence and develop needed informational movements within an organization.  Plus, you will learn to use a microcomputer for functional and analytical purposes and become familiar with basic managerial functions.
