Program Details

Art Therapy provides individuals with an opportunity to explore personal problems and potentials through painting, sculpture, or drawing. The online Master of Counseling / Art Therapy degree program is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in counseling practices and specialized training in art therapy, preparing them for successful careers in the field of art therapy counseling.


An undergraduate degree. A minimum GPA of 3.00 in the last 10 full course equivalents (30 credits). A minimum of three courses in psychology or educational psychology. Letters of reference. Resume.

Required to attend both the GCAP Summer Institute in Year I and the two VATI Summer Institutes in Years II and III. No exceptions will be permitted.
