Technology Facilitator Endorsement
Ashland University offers a Technology Facilitator Endorsement Program that is well suited for students who wish to gain valuable information in technology in order to make a positive impact on student learning. Students enrolled in this program will gain in-depth knowledge on technology applications, technology support, mentoring, and much more. Individuals who complete the program may find a rewarding career as building or campus-level technology facilitators.
The Technology Facilitator Endorsement program consists of 18 credit hours. Core courses students are required to complete include Teaching and Learning in the 21st Century Classroom, Telecommunications & Networking for Educators, Instructional Design, Issues & Concerns Related to Educational Technology, Methods for Integrating Technology, and Organization & Management of Educational Technology. The courses are expertly crafted to ensure graduates will be successful while in supporting technology within the field of education.
All courses are available online. The online learning environment provides flexibility for enrolled students who are employed or have other obligations. Students must be highly disciplined to complete a large amount of coursework. Time management, a reliable internet connection, and word processing skills are very important for students who enroll in this program.

Ashland University, affiliated with the Brethren Church, is a private not-for-profit, four-year institution of higher education, located in the city of Ashland Ohio. Ashland College was founded in 1878 by the German Baptist Brethren Church. In 1989, the college transitioned to Ashland University after the college expanded its academic offerings, including the addition of graduate programs.
