The online Certificate of Proficiency in Dispatcher Telecommunications program prepares students to work in public safety dispatch offices or telecommunications settings operated by municipalities, private police, security firms, or other public safety agencies. You will be able to work with the police, emergency medical personnel, and fire departments to direct first-responder services in critical situations. Coursework introduces the concepts of telecommunications 911 dispatching, including the roles, responsibilities, and basic job duties.
