Program Details

The online Master of Science in Education in Special Education – Instructional Specialist K-12 program teaches students about developmental, behavioral, and learning exceptionalities among children in grades K-12.  Coursework mainly focuses on teaching general education teachers about students with such exceptions who may be in their classrooms.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution
  • Official transcript(s)
  • A valid teaching certificate
  • No record as a felon or sex offender
  • A minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA or 3.25 GPA during the last 60 credit hours of university work
  • Written commitment from a building level administrator who will function as your mentor
