Program Details

ASU offers the online Post-Graduate Certificate in Special Education Director. This program is designed for Arkansas credentialed educators as well as credentialed educators in other states who seek to acquire a Curriculum Program Administrator license: Special Education Director. The program builds on previous degrees through the curriculum-intense courses and is designed to provide an accelerated, affordable route to obtaining an additional licensure.

Requirements

  • Education-related master's degree from an accredited institution
  • Official transcript(s)
  • A valid teaching certificate
  • No record as a felon or sex offender
  • Two years of teaching experience
  • Written commitment from an educator who will function as your mentor
  • Minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.75 (4.0 scale) or a 3.00 GPA on the last 60 hours
