Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Emergency Management program prepares professionals to effectively meet the demands of careers within the field or to transfer to the master’s degree program.  The interdisciplinary curriculum includes courses related to disaster health and provide knowledge and skills in disaster preparedness, mitigation, planning, response, and recovery.  You may also apply the credits earned toward the master’s degree in Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.75 (4.0 scale) or a 3.0 GPA on the last 60 hours and/or previous graduate courses
  • Official transcripts
  • Completion of prerequisites in Incident Command System (ICS), Disaster Life Support (DLS), and CPR
  • TB Skin Test
  • TB Mask Fit Test
