ASU's Bachelor of Arts in business with a concentration in communication will prepare you to understand and shape message-related behaviors for the purpose of improving communicative interactions in the workplace.

Business communication has exploded as a distinct professional field as companies require rapid and considered responses, from conveying ordinary information to crisis communications. This innovative, interdisciplinary program will prepare you for positions in a variety of professions in which business and communication play an important role in ensuring success.
 
The Bachelor of Arts in business and communication includes rigorous courses within the communication concentration in addition to the skill and core courses required of all W. P. Carey School of Business majors. As a graduate of this program, you will be better qualified to enter private and nonprofit corporate communications positions with business knowledge that will be immediately useful to potential employers. Students pursuing opportunities in sales, operations, retail banking, and hospitality will find the concentration of particular value.     Requirements

    Successfully complete ASU competency requirements, or be accepted via ACT/SAT scores and/or individual review. These include: Top 25% of high school graduating class; 3.0 GPA or above in competency courses (math, English, science, social science, foreign language, and fine arts); ACT 22 (24 nonresidents); or SAT Reasoning 1040 (1110 nonresidents).
