Transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy

Program Details

The online Transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy is useful to physical therapists currently practicing as it teaches them to practice physical therapy in a truly scientific manner, such as using evidence to solve problems.  The program seeks to inspire students with the ability to evaluate new methods and procedures as they develop.  Graduates will learn how to not only integrate new teachings but how to function as effective teachers for others.

Requirements

The degree includes 34 weeks of full-time clinical study.

  • Official transcript from a physical therapist degree program accredited by an agency approved by the U.S. Department of Education
  • A minimum GPA of 2.75
  • Current license to practice physical therapy in the United States 
  • Three written recommendations
  • Essay
  • Basic computer skills including Internet and email
