Program Overview

The online Undergraduate Certificate in Computer Information Systems / Personal Computer Specialist provides instruction for those who wish to gain a credential for acquired knowledge, skills and abilities in two different areas of concentration: Help Desk Specialist and Microsoft Office Certifications.  The certificate program is designed as an unit within associate degree programs and can be acquired in the process of seeking an associate’s degree.

    Anne Arundel Community College has built a tradition of more than 50 years of bringing innovation and excellence to the community.     AACC welcomes all ages, with students aged 2 to 99. Most of the county's public high school students, about 70 percent, who enroll in Maryland higher education institutions go through AACC. Older adults attend AACC as well. Flexible scheduling and daytime, evening, weekend, and online clases allow students to work and continue college at the same time. AACC's transfer agreements with four-year schools makes it easy for students to continue their education. There are also certificates or industry-recognized certifications offered for those who wish to enter the workforce.
