Program Overview

The Bachelor of Organizational Leadership degree offered by Anderson University in South Carolina aims to help students to succeed as decision makers in their industries. The objective of this program is to equip its students with transferable skills relating to the areas of communication, self-awareness, and leading group processes through collaborative teamwork. Through multi-disciplinary courses taken from a wide range of subject areas, this program should help its students to develop their skills relating to leadership, management, and career related competencies.

One of the goals of this program is to help sharpen its students abilities to successfully influence processes and outcomes in order to achieve a business’s or organization’s desired goals. The multi-disciplinary curriculum helps to provide students with the practical applications and theoretical knowledge to be influential and successful leaders. The curriculum involves courses taken from the areas of leadership, behavioral sciences, and organizational development.

This program requires students to complete 120 credit hours of courses in order to successfully graduate. Courses are in an 8 week format in order to best fit the schedule of a working individual. Students will participate in 36 credit hours of core courses in organizational leadership, quality management, and critical thinking, business communication. Students can choose a concentration, such as human resources administration, if they plan on pursuing a specific field or career.
