Program Details

Accelerate education and advance nursing practices with American Public University’s RN to MSN online program.  Accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and earn a BSN and MSN in the same program.  The Nurse Leader track provides students with the best practices for optimizing patient outcomes and creating a progressive, safe medical environment.  Studies will cover topics including but not limited to:

• Community health
• Leadership for advanced practice roles
• Informatics and technology

General education courses will also be required, including natural and social sciences, communication, statistics, and more.  Core graduate coursework will explore population-based healthcare as well as healthcare systems and policies.  This APU online program concludes with a track-related practicum and an evidence-based practice capstone project, ensuring students are prepared for real-world scenarios and professional healthcare environments.
