Program Details

The online Accounting master’s degree extends knowledge gained from an undergraduate program to increase your skills in written communication, research, and complex problem solving. Graduates will be well equipped to address Accounting issues in private corporations, government entities, public accounting, and not-for-profit organizations.

Classes discuss historic, current, and developing authoritative Accounting standards and how to appropriately apply them to financial transactions. Students will learn how to analyze, evaluate, and organize financial data to assist with managerial decision making. The curriculum covers Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), used to produce and interpret financial statements.
