Designed for those who share a passion for environmental stewardship, the online degree addresses predominant global issues such as pollution, hazardous materials, natural resources, and wildlife management. Using evidence-based research and real-world practices, the program ultimately provides students with the education needed to tackle many complex issues in environmental policy and management.
The Environmental Technology and Management Concentration explores the theoretical foundations of environmental hazard mitigation and pollution management and how regulations, policies, and politics influence environmental management and sustainability. The curriculum covers management strategies, compliance standards and current and emerging technologies in contaminant treatment, remediation, and disposal.
