The online Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management degree program focuses on the problem-solving skills and techniques needed to provide computer-based solutions to practical problems. Students learn how to develop and communicate technological solutions, manage systems operations, improve and evaluate products, provide customer support, and facilitate technology transfer in both the public and private sectors. They also learn to apply ethical judgments and critical thinking to assess the impact of information technology on contemporary social, political, and economic issues. Graduates are prepared for a broad range of IT positions in multiple fields, such as a programmer analyst, systems analyst, database analyst, information systems analyst, network analyst, security analyst, security risk assessor and manager, project manager, or computer resource manager.
