    The School of Health Sciences is dedicated to preparing our students for industries relative to careers in healthcare, nursing, exercise and fitness, and overall public health. Our nursing program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and designed to emphasize three core areas of development from practitioner to scientist and leader; our sports management program incorporates accreditation standards through a partnership with the American Sport Education Program (ASEP)—enabling some students to earn various ASEP certifications; and our public health master’s program is focused to educate and develop capable leaders by aligning with academic-community partners to deliver curriculum that addresses current public health issues.
