Want to become a leader on the clinic floor and improve patient care? Then consider taking your nursing career to the next level with an online Master of Science in Nursing degree specializing as a Clinical Nurse Leader. At American National University, your core curriculum will consist of 9 classes (36 semester hours). Thereafter, you can follow a specific pathway as a Clinical Nurse Leader with 20 additional hours that include advanced studies in pathophysiology and pharmacology. You will conclude your MSN studies at ANU with a capstone project.

  • Admission to RN to MSN program with a bachelor’s degree in a discipline other than nursing:
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

    • Completion of laboratory based anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and algebra  
    • Completion of the following BSN courses or equivalent: a course in Community/Public Health Nursing or credit for life experience for documented work history in this field, a research methodology course, a course in management or credit for life experience with documented work history in management
