The American College of Financial Services is a private, not-for-profit institution located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. First established in 1927 as The American College of Life Underwriters, The American College retains a long history of preparing students for careers in fields of finance and insurance, offering professional designation and certification programs, in addition to Master’s degrees and a Doctorate program.
The American College offers asynchronous coursework, online real-time webinar classes, and traditional onsite instruction to better meet the needs of all students. Students have two basic options to complete classwork: either enroll in a single course or register for the entire package program. Students progress through individual courses, one-at-a-time, and successful completion of a class requires that students complete classwork, attendance, participation, and term grade requirements. Students have access to the Online Learning Center that provides practice exams, discussion boards, audio reviews, and other instructional aids. Furthermore, the Professional Education Distribution division provides assistance, including registration support, guidance, textbook orders, answering questions, and more.
