Licensed teachers can gain advanced skills with a Master of Education in Literacy. This online program can prepare you for certification as a reading and literacy specialist. 

In this master’s in literacy online, you will learn theory and foundations of literacy development. Students will plan literacy instruction that is culturally and linguistically appropriate for their students. You will also learn how to support both students and fellow teachers in using digital literacy technologies. Participants will put their studies to work in their own classrooms throughout the program, as well as participate in coaching and mentoring opportunities.
