The online Associate of Applied Sciences in Computer Programming and Systems Design combines information technology, programming, database design and implementation and encompasses accepted theories regarding information systems management and security. As part of the program, students will develop a fundamental education in math and science in order to support their education in information systems.
Students will focus on professional skills to include: learning basic knowledge of high-level languages of JAVA and Visual Basic, Microsoft Office suite, introduction to ASP.NET, introduction to database systems, database systems and design, principles of information security, information technology project management utilizing Microsoft project.
