Allen County Community College offers an online Computer and Network Support Technician certificate for students interested in a career functioning in computer repair and customer support. Students will take part in a curriculum that helps them develop the necessary communication skills, problem solving skills and technical support skills for a career in technical support.
Classes include topics such as introduction to computers, Cisco Networking for home and small businesses, core hardware computer repair, Microsoft office, Cisco working at a small-to-medium business, and operating system computer repair.
Upon completion of this program, students will have demonstrated the necessary educational qualifications and professional expertise necessary for careers in technical help and customer support.
High school transcript or proof of GED completion and scores. Official transcripts from previous universities and colleges (if applicable). SAT/ACT scores - COMPASS/ASSET test administered to students not submitting SAT/ACT scores.
