Program Details

The online Certificate in Adult Care Home Administration is designed for students interested in developing skills necessary for operations and administration responsibilities within an adult care home.  The curriculum teaches fundamental skills in medicine that will develop the students’ understanding of the responsibilities of administration including Microsoft office, medical terminology, medical document transcription, medical insurance coding and billing, business communications, introduction to pharmacology, legal concepts, nursing home supervision, gerontology, and long-term care medical records.


  • High school transcript or proof of GED completion and scores
  • Official transcripts from any other colleges attended
  • ACT or SAT scores if taken (if not taken or scores are more than 3 years old, an ACCUPLACER test is required)
