Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration & Leadership

Program Details

The online Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration and Leadership program prepares students to become leaders in higher education.  The curriculum focuses on cultural diversity, cultural needs, and learning style differences, especially among individuals affiliated with Hispanic Serving Institutions and other Minority Serving Institutions.  Courses may include Historical/Contemporary Issues, Leadership in Minority Serving Institutions, Finance/Budgeting in Higher Education, and Politics/Policy in Higher Education.

Requirements

  • Must hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education
  • Must currently hold a position within an institution of higher education

Residency Requirement:

  • Two-day orientation/training residency at Adams State prior to the beginning of courses
  • Two-day Leadership Summit Residency at the end of the first year
