Program Details

The Master of Arts in Landscape Architecture from the Academy of Art University is an online architecture degree from one of the top art schools.  This program includes an introduction to landscape architecture.  The curriculum then goes on to emphasize the essential factors involved in creating outdoor spaces. 

You will learn to:

• Identify key elements of design
• Conduct research and explore alternatives
• Identify key processes on the site (soil types, plant species, wildlife, climate, hydrology, etc.)
• Look at how human behavior affects outdoor space in designs
