Nationally Accredited Online MBA Programs NO GMAT or GRE Requirement
Did you know that nationally accredited MBA programs do not require entrance exams for admission? That means you can get started on your online MBA without taking the GMAT or GRE!
National accreditation, while not as prevalent as regional accreditation, is a way to monitor the quality and consistency of the education provided by a college or university. The three most common types of national accreditation agencies are: The Distance Education & Training Council (DETC), the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges & Schools (ACICS), and the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT).
The DETC, founded in 1926, and first recognized as an accreditor by the U.S. Department of Education in 1955, accredits about 60 online schools that offer degree programs, as well as many online schools that provide continuing education or career training.
Credits from nationally accredited business schools, while cheaper, are not as transferable as regionally accredited options so make sure you want to start and finish at your chosen school.
We’ve highlighted 17 schools that hold national accreditation, offering a total of 36 different online MBA programs that do not require the GMAT or GRE.
With the forecasted demand for MBA graduates, anyone with this type of degree can expect to find work and be well compensated. According to the BLS, the average salary for MBA graduates is around 100,000, while some in the field may make upwards of $230,000.
You won't need to take the GRE or GMAT for any of the nationally accredited online MBA programs profiled below. Click on each school for details.
