Have any of you been scammed by a fake university? I'm a journalist and I'm looking at these degree mills. If you have either sent money or been a victim of their hassling sales tactics and would like to speak with me, please let me know. It would be a great help to try and tackle this problem.

Hi I got a call today from someone claiming to be from the Us department of education, I did a degree unfortunately with a mill university and after all the money I paid now this issue. They Informed me that my name is on a list of students being investigated for fraud certificates. I have the option of paying $1995. To take my name of the system or $6000 to transfer credit to another university. If I don't my name would be publish on national television and legal action would be taken against me. I have been a victim why should I have to pay more money. The numbers I got the calls from were from the embassy and consulate since I'm from another country. The thing that got me was the third number that called was registered to creek university, I started looking up this university and found this site. Can someone please help me, this doesn't make any sense at all.

I went to Stevens Henager College for my Associates degree in business management, and finished in 2011. Since then I have been looking for a company that I can shine. However, I was lied to about transferrable credits when I went to BSU, they almost laughed about the school. I wanted to get into Project management, which Stevens Henager don't have that program. Therefore, I have a $50,000 bill with a $14 he job, still. This is DEFINITELY A School for profit, and a terrible investment, & waste of time. BE AWARE POTENTIAL STUDENTS!!!!!!
