Our Home Health Aide program can help you gain the knowledge and skills valuable for a number of different settings – whether it’s a private home, hospice agency, or within a community setting.
Our Home Health Aide program aligns to and exceeds the minimum Federal requirements for Home Health Aide training, and includes a required externship that allows students to gain valuable hands-on experience under the supervision of a trained professional.

Penn Foster High School, Penn Foster Career School, and Penn Foster College have all met the high standards of integrity and performance set by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC), which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
Penn Foster Career School is regionally accredited for non-degree granting postsecondary programs, and Penn Foster High School is accredited for grades 9 through adult, by the Commission on Secondary Schools of the Middle States Association for Colleges and Schools.

- Students are required to perform a 40-hour externship prior to completing this program. It is the student’s responsibility to ultimately find and secure the externship at a site in their area.
