About Massasoit Community College
Massasoit Community College is a two-year public school located in Brockton, Massachusetts. The school was founded in 1966 and was named for the Massasoit, the Great Sachem of the Wampanoag. MCC has three campuses, which are located in Brockton, Canton, and Middleboro.
Massasoit Community College offers certificates of completion and associate’s degrees. Classes are offered during the daytime, evenings, and weekends. The six academic departments are Emergent Technologies, Humanities, Nursing, Public Service, Science/Mathematics and Business. Online courses are offered to provide flexibility and convenience to students who may not be able to come to the MCC campus. Courses are instructor-led and follow the same semester schedule as face-to-face courses. Online tools include video lectures, quizzes, online discussions, and assignments.
