About SUNY at Fredonia
In 1826 SUNY at Fredonia was established and in 1948 became one of the four-year colleges in the newly-established State University of New York (SUNY) system. Located about an hour from Buffalo, New York and Erie, Pennsylvania, Fredonia is a classic “college town” just two miles from Lake Erie. Fredonia is a public college committed to developing the students’ character and preparing them for rewarding careers.
