Look into one of the few online Masters degree in Environmental Engineering that focuses on water resources and waste and water remediation! The WPI program is designed for both engineers and scientists who want to either establish or further their careers in the environmental field. The WPI program specializes in specific aspects of environmental engineering: quality and quantity of water supplies - design of water and wastewater treatment systems - contaminant transport, transformation and modeling - waste remediation systems - Topics covered include: hydraulics and hydrology; physical, chemical and biological treatment systems for water, wastewater, hazardous waste and industrial waste; contaminant transport, transformation and modeling; and water quality. Flexibility Is Key --- You can complete your degree full-time or part-time, on-campus or online. All courses are developed and taught by the same faculty with online students getting the exact same courses as full time graduate students. Faculty have backgrounds as engineers with their PEs and their Ph.D.s. They consult, teach, and serve on boards of various environmental associations. To qualify for the program, you must have twelve courses in Mathematics & Science including calculus, differential equations, physics, chemistry, and fluid mechanics. Taking Courses Before Admission.
