I love WGU because of the self-paced model that allows me to accelerate my degree program. WGU knows how to treat it's online student like on-campus students with services such as career services, ID cards, alumni relations. This is the most interactive experience with an online university that I have come across. Another plus is the mentoring model which is very encouraging, inspiring, and successful.
One correction to the reviews that I have seen on the online degrees about WGU: all of the WGU online degrees are accelerated. However, on here I see that it says that the Marketing Management degree isn't accelerated. He is though.

I started at WGU after a lot of initial research. I've always wanted a college that let me learn on my terms rather then the colleges. Going to WGU has let me inch closer and closer to my degree goal while still keeping my life how i want it. I feel WGU has filled a niche which is the student over 30 who has lots of work experience and doesn't want to sit in a classroom with 18 year old kids. Along with this schools professional approach to learning and excellent support structure, its no wonder they are succeeding in the online world. I highly recommend this school!

Initially, I was skeptical of WGU's claims-a fully online school, based off of your current knowledge, with reasonable tuition rates? It sounded too good to be true, but it isn't. I'm in my last semester of obtaining my BS in Marketing, and am greatly impressed by WGU's structure and quality of education. It has greatly enhanced my business management and marketing skills, and everyone at WGU is extremely helpful. It is accredited, affordable, and completely online, which was perfect for me.
