Applicants under the age of 24, admission criteria for a baccalaureate degree may include: completion of high school with a satisfactory GPA, satisfactory GED score, satisfactory ACT or SAT score, high school class rank. For applicants over the age of 24, a high school diploma or GED is required. Applicants not meeting the above criteria may be admitted to The University of South Dakota at the Associate’s degree level. Also A criminal background check is required for admission into the major. No credit hours may be awarded for “life experiences” toward the ADS major.
