I already have a MBA from a brick and mortar residential school in Florida and wanted to finish my Masters in Accounting as well to get better prepared for the CPA exam and license. I only wanted to enroll in an AACSB program that offers affordable tuition. I previously took graduate level accounting courses at University of West Florida. But I would tell you South Dakota has a better program. Their approach makes this online program more than just exam and self studying. Professors offer live lecture every week plus quizzes and presentations geared toward the term paper. Professors respond very quickly on any question as do the MPA advisers. This is my first semester a USD and I am happy with my decision.
As a student at USD I have had many opportunities to excel both academically and professionally. The accounting program in particular is top of the line. I would recommend this school to anyone in the area that is considering pursuing a degree in business.
The University of South Dakota Master of Professional Accountancy is a great quality program. The online option provides convenience and flexibility at an amazingly affordable price. The AACSB accreditation reaffirms the integrity of the program and provides great marketability for those who hold this credential.
