My best friend went to Phoenix and wasn't too impressed. The rates were higher than what I paid because the school is for-profit. They also are not entirely regionally accredited so some of her classes didn't transfer to a state university.
The school is overall a good school. However it is very expensive and the statistics class is not offered on the campus which is not good. The learning teams are really not that beneficial.

I have been with university of Phoenix since Jan of 09. I have had more trouble with them. The financial program changes people too often for them to help the students fully. I have been there a year and have been through 3 financial counselors and academic counselors 2 times. With all this hassle they have put back my graduation several times. You can not get anyone to answer you either to get things straightened out. They have also messed up my payments several times because, They can't keep help their students with so many changes. I will say that besides all of this I love the distance learning and they have great instructors. The instructors were very helpful.

Great school, if you're willing to do the work. Meets the needs of working professional better than any other school. Is somewhat pricey, but worth the convenience.
