Sponsored Description:
Tailored for part-time students who work full-time, the Applied Information Management (AIM) Program is a fully online, multi-disciplinary Master of Science degree focusing on four key perspectives: information management, information design, business management, and applied research. The AIM master’s degree is designed for professionals who want to enhance their real-world knowledge of information management as they manage information, people, technologies, and resources. Individuals are able to study part-time while continuing to work full-time and can complete the program in just two-and-a-half to three years. Courses are offered one at a time—consecutively—throughout the calendar year. Each course is offered at least once a year, and includes regular assignment and discussion deadlines. Students have access to the course twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week while the course is in session. Unlike traditional information technology programs, AIM takes an applied approach, preparing students with big picture perspectives on managing information in a wide variety of organizations and positions. Students learn within a select group of peers who work in high-tech companies, educational institutions, government agencies and nonprofits. Students often report that they apply what they learn in class the very next day at work!

University of Oregon offers a graduate degree in Information Management, and a number of individual courses online. This program is well-reviewed and costs are lower than various other comparable programs because it is a public school.
The program makes the online/distance learning experience really work. The multi-disciplinary approach was a great fit for me personally, and the interactions I had with everyone involved was top notch.
If your looking for extra opportunities for growth and development and are interested in learning (and being challenged) across a breadth of topics... this program could be for you. It really provides a great career level-set to put yourself in a position to be actively engaged in most IT related business discussions.
Great program! I started with another school but found it lacking in both support and engaging material. This program is well organized, engaging, and challenging! The staff and instructors have real-world experience and expect a lot from their students! I worked hard in this program but it was worth every bit!
The program curriculum is designed for an in-depth study for every angles of information management. Staff and faculty are very knowledgeble, professional and helpful. Lots of shared knowledge and work experiences in the classes from students and faculty. The program standard is well maintained and constantly high at the front row of the online education.
