The Master of Science in Operations Management (MSOM) is an online, 30-hour, non-thesis master of science degree program designed for working professionals who have earned a bachelor’s degree in any major. The degree program focuses on concepts, tools, and techniques to enhance efficiency in the production of goods and services. Students are equipped to create added value in the goods or services offered by almost any type of worldwide enterprise. The knowledge acquired in the coursework applies to service sector businesses, governmental agencies, manufacturing plants, and processing facilities. The majority of courses are offered online enabling students to complete coursework entirely through distance education. Tuition rates for all students are $250/credit hour, with an additional $50/credit hour in fees – no out of state tuition. Admission requirements include a bachelor’s degree in any major, and a GPA of 3.0 or better (cumulative or on the last 60 hours of course work) on the first, conferred undergraduate degree. The GRE/GMAT is not required for students with at least a 3.0 GPA. To apply, submit an online application and an official transcript from every university you attended.
