Thomas Edison State College's Master of Arts in Liberal Studies (MALS) is a challenging and comprehensive program of study that relates humankind's history to the world we live in today. Through well-designed and interrelated courses students are exposed to an all-encompassing view of human ancestors and of humanity’s place in the cosmos. The MALS program provides an overview of the liberal arts that transforms the student’s view of his or her place in the universe and gives the student an understanding of why human beings think and act as we do. I found it gave me a new perspective on how I relate to people in my career, my community and my family. I highly recommended the MALS program at Thomas Edison State College.
