Sponsored Description: The School of Business and Management provides a broad curriculum that encompasses the academic and professional areas of current business and management specialties. Leadership is a strong focus of the curriculum, which ensures college-level competence in business and the arts and sciences. The Master of Science in Management (MSM) degree focuses on organizational leadership, and benefits management professionals by integrating management theory and practice to a wide range of organizations. The program was developed at the request of major New Jersey employers looking for an academically rigorous and practical educational opportunity for seasoned managers who demonstrate the potential for growth and advancement. The 36-credit MSM program is offered completely online. With the increasing demand for academic credentials in the human resources field, adult learners need high-quality, accessible degree programs they can complete while they continue to work. The Master of Science in Human Resources Management (MSHRM), a degree for professionals in human resources, fulfills that mandate. Drawing on extensive research about what makes effective human resources practitioners, the College identified the human resources competencies important to an HR career. The program offers a course of study that is grounded in current best practices and will prepare the student to become a strategic partner within his or her organization.

I enrolled in this program after a gap in study habits and found that the Edison staff and faculty worked very hard to bring me back up to speed. It is a challenging program, made all the more so by the online format. I learned a lot and was able to apply in in my work environment immediately. I would encourage others looking to improve their work skills to take a good look at Edison. They are affordable and effective at helping you reach your goal.

Thomas Edison State College offers affordable, high quality education for self directed adults. The program and its mentors were exceptional. I would suggest this program to any working adult who works in the management field. It was a great program and very affordable.

Thomas Edison State College has been a wonderful option for me! My husband and I both are working to pursue our graduate degrees, while we raise our 1 year old and work fast paced jobs. It is not easy, but Thomas Edison has really given me the flexibility I need. I was not sure how pursuing a Master's degree would fit into my life, but it is working out perfectly.
